From April 30 to May 4, 2023 Riga (Latvia) will host the 5th annual contemporary dance intensive week, which will include workshops of dance techniques, composition laboratories and theoretical lectures led by Aleksandra Janeva Imfeld (Belgium), Marion Sparber (Italy), Evelien Jansen (Netherlands), Olga Zitluhina (Latvia) and morning warm up classes, every day with different body awakening method (bodyArt, yoga, Feldenkrais method) led by Latvian teachers Sintija Silina, Lauma Berga, Ramona Galkina, Anna Novikova.
The project combines an educational program for professionals and dance enthusiasts. Everything is aimed to create best conditions for exploring and enjoying dance.
The program is formed in two groups:
– PRO class (intermediate-advanced level)
– OPEN class (beginner)
In addition to a rich schedule of dance classes, Riga/ON participants will also have an evening program which will include: dance performances, challenge jam and final party.
