Horeogrāfu Asociācija aicina uz publisku sarunu ar dejas mākslinieku Jarko Partanenu (Somija)

Laikā no 2024. gada decembra – līdz 2025. gada februārim, trijās nedēļas nogalēs Horeogrāfu Asociācija rīko darbnīcas laikmetīgās dejas un skatuves mākslas profesonāļiem, kurās dalībnieki starptautisku dejas mākslinieku – Maijas Hirvanenas (Somija), Jarko Partanena (Somija) un Anas Dubljevičas (Serbija) – vadībā tiks aicināti domāt par savu radošo praksi dažādos virzienos, tādējādi atrodot likumsakarības un nodefinējot konkrētas jēdziena iezīmes.

Laboratorijas papildina publiskas sarunas ar pasniedzējiem, pievēršoties viņu individuālajai radošajai praksei un metodēm, koncentrējoties ne tikai uz konkrētiem darbiem un rezultātu, bet uz pašu izpētes un radīšanas procesu.

Jarko Partanens (www.wauhaus.fi ) ir Helsinkos dzīvojošs horeogrāfs un kurators, kurš strādā starptautiskā mērogā un ir mākslas kolektīva WAUHAUS biedrs. Viņš ir strādājis dažādos mākslas žanros un kontekstos, sākot no mazo teātru melnajām kastēm līdz pilsētvides objektiem, lieliem stadioniem un atzītu teātru galvenajām skatuvēm.
Partanens ir viens no apzinātas un daudzveidīgas seksualitātes festivāla Wonderlust dibinātājiem. Festivāla kontekstā viņa darbi ir pievērsušies sekspozitīvākām praksēm un jautājumiem par vēlmi un piekrišanu. Pašlaik viņš arī studē maģistrantūrā kuratora un izstāžu studiju programmā Helsinku Mākslas universitātē / Tēlotājmākslas akadēmijā Helsinkos. Partanens arī bieži strādā kā vieslektors Helsinku Mākslas universitātes Teātra akadēmijas dejas, horeogrāfijas un teātra nodaļās.

Sarunas notiks angļu valodā un ir bezmaksas, atvērtas ikvienam interesentam.

The Choreographers’ Association invites you to a public conversation with dance artist Jarkko Partanen www.wauhaus.fi

From December 2024 to February 2025, the Choreographers’ Association is organizing workshops for contemporary dance and performing arts professionals over three weekends, in which participants, led by international dance artists Maija Hirvanen (Finland), Jarkko Partanen (Finland) and Ana Dubljevic (Serbia), will be invited to think about their creative practice in different directions, thus finding regularities and defining specific features of the concept.
After the conclusion of the laboratories, public conversations with the teachers will take place, revealing more about their individual creative practices and methods, focusing not only on specific final works but on the process of research and creation itself.
Jarkko Partanen is Helsinki based choreographer and curator working internationally. He is a member of the WAUHAUS – arts collective. He has been working between different genres of art and varying contexts ranging from small black box theatres to urban sites, large stadiums, and the main stages of established theatre houses.
Partanen is one of the founders of Wonderlust, a festival of conscious and diverse sexuality. In the context of the festival, his work has turned towards more sexpositive practices and to the questions of desire and consent. Currently, he is also studying in a masters program in curating and exhibition studies at the University of the Arts / Fine Arts Academy in Helsinki. Partanen also works as a frequent visiting lecturer at the departments of dance, choreography, and theatre at the University of the Arts Theatre Academy in Helsinki.

The talks will be moderated by dramaturg and workshop curator Linda Krūmiņa.
The conversation will be in English and is free and open to anyone interested.
