They are nice.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"c9\"><span class=\"c7\">Our preset notions and reputed opinions are like <i class=\"c6\">avocado<\/i><\/span> <span class=\"c4\">&#8211; tasteless fruits with buttery texture, which green an<\/span><span class=\"c7\">d porous<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">bark we usually peel an<\/span><span class=\"c7\">d<\/span> <span class=\"c7\">throw away in the litter<i class=\"c6\">.<\/i> Therefore, the bone of avocado <\/span><span class=\"c4\">&#8211; chestnut brown core<\/span> <span class=\"c7\">d<\/span><span class=\"c4\">oes not give any gastronomical pleasure; it belongs to other re<\/span><span class=\"c7\">d<\/span><span class=\"c4\">undant components in recycle bin. However, why<\/span> <span class=\"c7\">d<\/span><span class=\"c4\">o we eat it? Why<\/span> <span class=\"c7\">d<\/span><span class=\"c4\">o we make sala<\/span><span class=\"c7\">d<\/span><span class=\"c4\">s using only the valuable part of it? In addition, can we answer to those questions that in every<\/span> <span class=\"c7\">d<\/span><span class=\"c4\">ay we make mute? Moreover &#8211; do our stereotypes an<\/span><span class=\"c7\">d<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">notions exist only in our linguistic nature? Maybe patterns of them hide in our bodies? These questions highlighte<\/span><span class=\"c7\">d<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">choreographer<\/span><span class=\"c7\">\u00a0 Francesco Scavetta and Norwegian contemporary<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">d<\/span><span class=\"c7\">ance company <i class=\"c6\">Wee<\/i> in their newest performance <i class=\"c6\">Hardly ever,<\/i> which was presente<\/span><span class=\"c4\">d<\/span> <span class=\"c7\">at<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">da<\/span><span class=\"c7\">nce house Zirgu pasts<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">d<\/span><span class=\"c7\">uring the festival <i class=\"c6\">Time to<\/i><\/span> <i class=\"c6\"><span class=\"c4\">d<\/span><\/i><i class=\"c6\"><span class=\"c7\">ance<\/span><\/i> <span class=\"c7\">(<i class=\"c6\">Laiks<\/i><\/span> <i class=\"c8\"><span class=\"c4\">d<\/span><\/i><i class=\"c6\"><span class=\"c7\">ejot<\/span><\/i><span class=\"c7\">). At the performance <i class=\"c6\">Har<\/i><\/span><i class=\"c8\"><span class=\"c4\">d<\/span><\/i><i class=\"c6\"><span class=\"c7\">ly ever<\/span><\/i> <span class=\"c7\">you can look as a miniature <i class=\"c6\">avocado<\/i> dictionary, which you cannot rea<\/span><span class=\"c4\">d<\/span><span class=\"c7\">, instead<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">&#8211; use through bodily experience.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"c9\"><span class=\"c7\">Artists of the<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">dance company <i class=\"c6\">Wee<\/i> transforms individual and collective experience an<\/span><span class=\"c7\">d<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">represents it by using elements of dance, <i class=\"c6\">release<\/i> technique<i class=\"c8\">,<\/i> movement theatre and improvisation, that are recreated and synthesized into refreshing, wise and youthful aesthetics. The dramaturgy of performance was create<\/span><span class=\"c4\"><span class=\"c4\">d<\/span> by Sasha Bozic, who did compile many pieces of etudes, creating small micronarratives that are working independently and separately, and at the same time they are interacting into centripetal direction with purposefulness and pleasantry. The performance <i class=\"c6\">Hardly ever<\/i> continues to research the relationship between lies and truth on stage an of stage, that the company started in 2009 with performance <i class=\"c6\">Sincerely yours<\/i>. In Riga shown performance<i class=\"c6\">,<\/i><\/span> <span class=\"c7\">Scavetta chose to confront verbal notifications, questions, commentaries with physical responses, remarks that recreates new kaleidoscope of pop culture from quotes an emblematic signs as part of our experience <i class=\"c8\">per se<\/i>. Four charismatic an<\/span><span class=\"c4\">d<\/span> <span class=\"c7\">engaging dancers<\/span><span class=\"c4\">-performers<\/span> (Gry Kipperberg, Erikk McKenzie,\u00a0Sigrid Marie Vesaas, Thomas Vantuycom) <span class=\"c7\">are constantly discussing their own work, outplays reality, fiction and fantasy<\/span> <span class=\"c4\">&#8211; this allows to connect audience to their own associative thought process, continuously asking to ourselves the basic rule of <i class=\"c6\">avocado<\/i> dictionary: &#8220;Do you believe in what I say or in what I show?&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c9\">*<strong>D?rta Ceri?a<\/strong> studies audiovisual arts at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
